Āl-‘Imrān 3:192

The verse

3:192
Our Lord! Whom Thou causest to enter the Fire: him indeed Thou hast confounded. For evil-doers there will be no helpers. — Marmaduke Pickthall

The issue

This verse declares that whoever Allah sends to hell will be humiliated: “Lord! verily, whomsoever Thou hast made to enter the fire, Thou hast disgraced him.” It is well known that the Qur’ān states that everyone will go to hell: “There is not one of you who will not go down to it…” (Q 19.71). This means Muslims will be humiliated (dishonored), even though the Qur’ān promises them that Allah will not dishonor them on the Day of Judgment: “...the day God will not disgrace the Prophet nor those who believe with him...” (Q 66.8).

Question: Which of these beliefs is the right one?
